Bhutan is one of the most unique countries of Southeast Asia that is well connected with the rest of the world with major transportation modes such as airways and roadways.

By Air:

Paro International Airport is the only international airport in Bhutan, located near the town of Paro. Druk Air, the national carrier, and Bhutan Airlines offer limited, but scheduled flights from major Indian cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, and many more.

By Roads:

Bhutan shares land borders with India at Phuentsholing and Gelephu. However, foreign tourists currently cannot enter by road due to government regulations.

By Train:

Bhutan currently does not have its railway network. The nearest major train stations are in Siliguri, Hasimara, and New Jalpaiguri in India, located several hours from the Bhutan border. These can be used as connection points for road travel, but not directly entering Bhutan.
